Pura Lempuyang Temple

Pura Lempuyang Temple is a Balinese Hindu temple located on the slope of Mount Lempuyang, 1,175 meters above sea level. Known on the island as one of the most highly regarded temples in Bali, it has become more popular in recent years among tourists thanks to Instagram spreading the word..
The entire landscape looks completely surreal. The temple gate has become known in the western world as “The Gateway To Heaven''. Although its location is a bit off the beaten track, taking a little bit of time to get here, it is certainly worth it! Witness the view amongst the clouds and capture some beautiful, ethereal photos.

Taman Ujung Water Palace

Taman Ujung, meaning ‘water palace’, is located in the village of Seraya in Karangasem regency. It is the sister site of Tirta Gangga (where we will also visit) and was built by the late Raja (King) of Karangasem. The complex consists of various large pools and historic structures set against the majestic backdrop of Mount Agung and the eastern shoreline

Tirta Gangga Water Palace

Our next stop is the water palace of Tirta Gangga, which is located in the Candidasa area. It literally means "water of the Ganges" so you can already imagine the importance of this place for the Hindus of the island. Here we find a myriad of pools and fountains. Surrounded by immensely well kept gardens, tents and many stone carvings and statues depicting Hindu mythology. You can bathe in some of the pools and others you can hop from stone to stone, dancing over the water’s surface.

Bali Chocolate Factory

Who doesn’t love chocolate? The cherry (or should we say, chocolate sprinkles) on top of your amazing day, Bali Chocolate Factory in the east of Bali! Stop off here to taste some local chocolate and visit the cutest little handmade houses. You can have a picnic here and of course, have some fun monkeying around on the famous swing here before beheading off on our way!
